ENTREPRENEURSHIP coaching

My passion is entrepreneurship. I love the creative rush of taking an idea from concept to reality, and I have spent my career as a founder, employee, executive, and investor at early-stage companies. I believe that everyone is an entrepreneur at some point in their career. For some, that may mean pursuing a dream of founding a company for the first time. For founders, that may mean navigating a start-up through new stages of growth. For executives, that may mean pivoting a business toward a new vision. And for others, it may mean mustering the courage to execute a career pivot or discover a true passion.

I offer a variety of coaching services for any and every stage of the entrepreneurial journey. In all cases, it requires grappling with your fear of the unknown. I will help you confront your self-limiting beliefs that are holding you back, define a compelling vision and path for success, and develop the skills for navigating the inevitable twists and turns. GETTING STARTED

Deciding how, or if, to launch a new company can be overwhelming—particularly if you have never founded a company before. You may have a great idea, but are unsure how to turn that idea into reality. You may have concerns about the financial sacrifice of going without a salary while you get your startup off the ground. You may be unsure how to raise capital, enlist other people, or develop a new product. Oftentimes, founders go through significant emotional stress that can feel isolating, frustrating, even shameful. Whether you’re struggling with building up the conviction to take the leap, feeling like your start-up idea is moving sideways, uncertainty about how to take the next steps, or other fears, uncertainties, and doubts that are holding you back, we will unpack it all. Enabling you to embark on your entrepreneurial endeavor with confidence and achieve your full potential.

MID-CAREER

One of the most challenging yet under-appreciated stages of one’s professional journey is mid-career. You may feel stuck in a job you no longer love, uncertain how to reignite the ambition you felt earlier in your career, or daydreaming about pursuing a new business idea or entirely new occupation. These frustrations and uncertainties can leave you feeling restless, trapped, and directionless. Making the decision to pursue something new, whether it’s founding a company or changing professional fields, requires deep introspection and conviction. Together, we will figure out what your true passions are and develop a plan to pursue them with intention, confidence, and accountability.

FounderS

Founding or running a start-up company is a dream of many ambitious professionals. But, once achieved, that dream can sometimes feel like a nightmare. Nobody told you how stressful growing and managing a team can be, with the success or failure of the entire business on your shoulders. It can be incredibly isolating, with no one to talk to and taboos about showing any weakness to employees, investors, or your executive team. The unrelenting pressure often leads to burnout, organizational strife, turnover, and, ultimately, failure. So let’s stop the vicious cycle, identify your emotional pitfalls, develop the resilience to handle whatever comes at you, and chart a sustainable path forward that combines personal and professional fulfillment—and, by the way, leads to the most successful outcome for your business.

Executives

Perhaps the most perilous and daunting entrepreneurial journeys happen within mature organizations. Whether it’s because growth has slowed, organizational changes are needed, business models are stagnating, competitive dynamics have altered, product innovation is needed, or any of dozens of other constantly-changing business dynamics, the status quo is no longer an option. With established revenue, employees, and investors, there’s a lot at stake. But developing the vision and belief to take highly risky but necessary actions can feel daunting. Together, we’ll take stock of your organizational realities, confront the issues that are creating inaction, and develop a plan to supercharge your organization with an entrepreneurial mindset.
